Last spring, I made the best decision of life as I sent in my application for the position as Vice President of LundaEkonomerna. I had thought about it for a while, and changed my mind several times but I am so glad that I finally decided to do it.

It has now been a year since I sent in my application, got a nomination from the Nominations Committee and was selected by the General Council. I cannot describe how fast this year has passed by and how much I have learned on so many different levels. I have meet amazing people, and eight of them are my best friends today. I have also grown and learned so much about myself as a person. Sometimes I have felt like I just want to lay down on the floor and scream, but most of the time I have felt genuinely happy and satisfied.

So, I want to encourage each and every one of you out there who
 are considering to apply
for a position
in board to take
this chance and
DO IT! It does
not matter how much
experience you have, or
how many committees
and projects within
LundaEkonomerna
that you have been in
volved in. It is about
your personal engage
ment and how dedicated you are to take on this challenge. So, if you believe you have that you are half way there. And the rest is just up to you.
