You could feel the adrenaline and hear the heartbeat of all novices waiting patiently for entering AF Borgen. The rain was slowly pouring but all new students standing in front of AF Borgen, in the middle of Lund, with their new friends, were happy and laughing. They were about to finish their novice period and become true LundaEkonomer. Nothing could stop us now!

The red carpet leading into the big hall had never been so red. All dressed up in dark suits and dresses. You could feel the rush when everyone, as quickly as possible, took place on the stairs. For the first time in a very long time, or maybe for the first time ever, we were about to enter AF Borgen. It was like a historical moment, FINALLY!

The door opened and the glasses of prosecco bubbled intensely. After some time it was time for everyone to take their seat. The hall looked like never before and the sitting was about to start. Food, wine, songs, performances, and on it goes! Sittningen did not miss a thing.

So how was it? Was it like it used to be? Let me summarize it to you with one word, MARVELOUS! Thank you Novice committee, sexmästeriet, and everyone who participated, making an unforgettable night.

Oh, well. What’s a ball at AF Borgen? ”After all, I suppose it would be frightfully dull, and-and-and boring, and-and completely… Completely wonderful. And so it was!” – Cinderella
