As the final mercury retrograde of 2020 is coming to its end, it is time to turn a new page and look ahead to what the month of November has in store for us. When a planet retrogrades it is astrologically in a sleeping state. The Planet Mercury rules communication of all forms so, during a retrograde, miscommunications often occur. Although your patience may be running out, for the last days of the retrograde try to remain understanding and flexible. During a Mercury retrograde, you should always avoid dying your hair, getting a new tattoo, and making drastic life changes. It is the perfect time for self-reflection and an opportunity to allow your mind to go beyond conventional wisdom by moving past linear thinking.

During scorpio season it is time to:

  • Deconstruct our old selves and find beauty in recreation
  • Explore our shadows and inner desires
  • Dive deeply into curiosity
  • Merge with those we love

Sun in Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Sun in Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

The coziness and changing colors of autumn make your nature-loving heart feel at ease. By keeping your positive and playful attitude throughout the dark autumn good things gravitate towards you. However, don’t shut off your negative emotions and in times of distress reach out to those closest to you.

Sun in Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Don’t be afraid to step out and try something new outside of your comfort zone. November is the time for adventures! However, don’t forget to take time to yourself and spend time with those closest to you.

  • DO: long-form essays, DON’T: free trials

Sun in Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

This month you should be investing your time in people who care for you. November is the perfect time to connect with yourself. Reminder: don’t shrink yourself to make others feel comfortable.

  • DO: wooled socks, DON’T: pale green

Sun in Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)

Gloomy November can be tiring and bring out the worst qualities in you. Use your emotional disturbance to your advantage by using it as an outlet for your creative ideas. Overthinking might make you second-guess the loyalty of those closest to you. Don’t fall into the trap of self-sabotaging and reach out to your scorpio friends to get in touch with your emotional self.

  • DO: natural light, DON’T: espressos

Sun in Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)

The month of November is all about communication and deep emotions. Don’t be scared to express yourself and voice your opinion. Even though virgos tend to be detail-oriented and logical, remember the importance of getting in touch with your emotions. Make noise and know your worth.

  • DO: speak your mind, DON’T: beige

Sun in Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)

You may feel overwhelmed by the current world situation and the chaos around you. Try to let go of the things you have no control over and instead focus on making a positive change in the people and environment around you. Reminder: not everything that weighs you down is yours to carry.

  • DO: yoga, DON’T: polka dots

Sun in Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)

  • DO: forehead kisses, DON’T: heavy things

Sun in Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)

  • DO: newspapers, DON’T: big decisions

Sun in Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20)

Thanks to your imaginative nature, you will be the star or Halloween parties. You are a positive force that spreads joy to those around you. However, don’t forget to devote time to self-care to relieve some of the stress your are experiencing.
